Fitness sensation Joey Swoll recently took to social media to address an incident at the gym. The crusader of gym positivity criticized a fellow gym-goer for making derogatory remarks about people passing by his camera. Swoll has recently recovered from an umbilical hernia surgery and has been actively promoting a positive gym atmosphere.
In an Instagram video, Swoll expressed his disapproval of the individual recording a video of themselves doing handstands in a high-traffic area of the gym. Swoll pointed out that the person seemed to expect others to stop and give them space, emphasizing that not everyone has to cater to their filming needs.

Swoll conveyed a message by saying, “If you want to do handstands or somersaults, cartwheels, whatever your heart desires with nobody walking through your video, do it at home.” He highlighted the importance of recognizing that not everyone in the gym is obligated to adjust their activities for one person.
The 47-year-old bodybuilder encouraged the individual to be more considerate, stating that they don’t own the gym, and people shouldn’t have to alter their routines for their filming preferences. Swoll concluded his message with a lighthearted jab, suggesting that the individual also invest in a pair of matching socks.
Swoll’s stance is centered around promoting a harmonious gym environment where everyone can pursue their fitness goals without unnecessary disruptions. The bodybuilding icon is famously known for his positive attitude. He showcased this positivity after his surgery, even joking about the hairnet given to him by the hospital staff, even though he is bald.
