Before the release of Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman appeared in an interview to talk about the movie. However, the highlight shed light on his opinion of the critics.

During his interview with CNN, Hugh Jackman was confronted about his alleged use of steroids to achieve his impressive physique for the Wolverine franchise. “You got so jacked for these movies and over the years, nine Wolverine movies, and over the years people have wondered did he choose, did he take steroids?”

In response, the 54-year-old actor firmly denied these accusations. He instead chose to focus on his love for his job and the art of acting. When asked about people’s opinions regarding his alleged steroid use, Jackman shrugged off the accusations. He made it clear that his transformation was the result of his dedication and hard work. No, I love my job, I love Wolverine. I had been told anecdotally what the side effects are of that. I just did it the old-school way,” he said.

Jackman acknowledged the existence of side effects that accompany the use of steroids. He said that he had a clear understanding of the potential risk and health implications associated with substances. So rather than relying on shortcuts or potentially harmful substances, Jackman chose to prioritize his well-being and long-term health by adopting a holistic approach to his physical transformation.

Jackman’s unusual diet has grabbed global attention

During the interview, Hugh Jackman discussed his focus on maintaining a proper diet and mentioned consuming a significant amount of chicken. However, this is not the first time Jackman’s diet has sparked discussion. Recently, fitness expert Greg Doucette commented on Jackman’s reported 8,000-calorie diet for his role in the movie “Deadpool.”

Doucette claimed that consuming and burning that many calories in a single day is humanly impossible. He said, “As a dietician, I know that no human being of his size and his activity level could possibly need to eat 8000 calories to put on muscle. It’s not possible”. The debate of whether he took any external substances has been long-standing. However, Jackman’s decision underscores the importance of responsible and sustainable approaches and has brought a new twist to the debate.
