Social media has found its foothold among the masses with a special focus on youngsters. The bodybuilding community is no different from this and has seen fitness challenges trend for the past few years.

Recently, the bodybuilding world came up with a new fitness trend called the Tren Challenge. However, the elite IFBB coach, Greg Doucette, is not impressed with the challenge, given the disastrous outcomes.

The bodybuilding coach slams the new fitness challenge

The online fitness freaks inspire each other to take up heavy-weighted challenges to prove strength. However, sometimes fitness enthusiasts cross the line of safety to display an extremely ripped physique. While the bodybuilding arena often faces backlash for steroid usage, now the online fitness community is following suit. 

Fitness lovers online took up a strange Tren challenge, which requires them to take steroids for 30 days to see the improvements in their physique. The IFBB Pro coach gives insights into the disaster challenge. “This should not even be allowed on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, but yet no! We banned coach Greg from TikTok, but yet we allow this,” he complains in his latest YouTube video.

Calling the trend, the “worst challenge” the bodybuilding icon specified that the challenge is “detrimental to your health.” Reflecting on multiple disadvantageous, the coach points out that it is illegal to do in America. This isn’t the first time Doucette criticized bodybuilders resorting to unhealthy ways to bulk up muscles. He had earlier opened up about his steroid journey.

Greg Doucette spills beans on PED usage

Bodybuilders put their bodies under great strain to mold them into a Greek-God-like physique. While training at the gym and strict diets are the right way to build muscles, a few athletes resort to PEDs to enhance the results. However, they often neglect the health issues that result from such methods.

Greg Doucette also tried PEDs during his bodybuilding career but later quit to focus on his health. “Stopped abusing PEDs and lost about 8 lbs of muscle as it’s simply not worth the risk,” he stated.
