Hidetada Yamagashi is getting all the attention due to winning the 212 Mr Olympia. ‘Nick?s Strength and Power’ uploaded the latest 2023 Master?s Olympia Results and Hide the ‘Dragon’ came to be the winner. The Youtuber also said, ?Today was day one of 2023 Masters Mr Olympia in Romania.? Nick was excited to see him back and said, ?A big name that I was excited to see back.”
Nick also introduced the veteran IFBB pro bodybuilder and narrated, ?He started in open bodybuilding then he switched to 212 and he eventually stopped competing and now he?s back here.? The IFBB pro made history as the first Japanese bodybuilder to qualify for the Olympia and get invited to the Arnold Classic.
Nick also talked about the top five qualifiers in the 212 Mr. Olympia. David Henry won second place. Anwar Darwish was third and fourth place was Steve D. Thayer. Fifth place was taken by Jonny Shreve. Nick mentioned Hide?s conditioning and flawless muscles at the age of 50. He was in his trademark conditioning and shredded muscles.
Even if Nick was anticipating the win, he was a little surprised by the results. However, according to Nick, Hide does not have his back muscles as shredded as David’s, so he ranked Hidetada below David, and he also said that the decision was controversial. According to him, Hide won because he had better conditioning than David.

Hidetada wins the bodybuilding world?s respect
Hidetada made history in 2007 as the first Japanese bodybuilder to compete in Mr. Olympia. ‘The Dragon’ as he is named in the bodybuilding world, started the sport at 16. He has had his share of achievements by winning the Europa Show of Champions and placing 2nd in the Phoenix Pro and the New York Pro Championships.
