In one of the latest episodes of Live Talks Los Angeles, where the bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen candidly talking to Jamie Lee Curtis about his life and his journey to the top, he unveiled how Maria Shriver, despite not wanting him to run for the governor, eventually turned around and became one of the biggest reasons he became the Green Governor.

Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that the morning before they left for a show, Maria Shriver slipped a piece of paper through the bathroom door while he was enjoying his time in the jacuzzi, and she made two paragraphs out of it. One of them said, “In case you’re not running this is what I would say,” and the other said, “In case you decide to run I would say this.”

This gave Arnie an idea that she is trying to put in hints that she might have changed her mind. He said, “So I said to myself wow, she expects one or the other, so she’s not like 100% against that”. This led to him running wholeheartedly and of course, winning. Well, this is not the first time his ex-wife has been the strongest pillar of support in his life. In his book, he has thanked her for supporting him throughout his life.
