Bodybuilding is more than a flawless physique and showing off hard work. It also encompasses strength, rigorous competitions, and various kinds of combat sports. Arm Wrestling is one such sport where patience and strength are significant.

Devon Larratt, the 48-year-old Canadian professional arm wrestler who even gave Hafthor Bjornson a run for his money, recently trained amateur and upcoming East Vs West Qualifier champion, Brad Grundy. The ex-military member trained his muscles and strength with the best arm wrestler in North America. The reigning champion taught a lot to the newbie in the video.

The Canadian pro arm wrestler welcomed Brad into his training session and both of them immediately got down to business. “Brad Grundy all the way to Florida come down to Picton do some training,” Larratt says. Devon continues, “Anybody in the region, hot him up come and fight with him. I’m gonna monopolize them as much as possible.”

The first thing they do in the YouTube video is to lock their hands in with the wrestling strap so that there is no way of arm manipulation. After the straps are in place, Devon and Brad have a little conversation about the East versus West 8 match that recently took place.

Before you know it, the arm wrestle had begun and Brad tried his best to move Devon’s hand, but his hand was stiff like a pillar. Devon’s technique is unique because he does not think of going right or left. He focuses on the extensions rather than the body movement and elevating rising strength. Devon taught this technique of rising strength to Brad in this video. Even after having three surgeries on his elbow in 2013, he was still going stronger than ever as the best arm wrestler and even had Joe Rogan bewitched.

Joe Rogan is baffled by Devon Larratt’s strength

The UFC commentator and Fear Factor host talked about his experience with the world champion arm wrestler. On the podcast with Joe Diaz he said, “Dude, I’m telling you he’s he has the biggest hands I’ve ever experienced in my life. Like, they don’t even make any sense like maybe Shaq has bigger hands like longer, but this dude’s hands were like catcher’s mitts.”

Joe also claimed that if Larratt trained in Jiu-Jitsu, he would be successful in that sport. Apart from that, Devon Larratt is also a smart individual, according to Diaz. That is proven by his arm wrestling technique alone. What do you think of Brad Grundy’s techniques and training with Devon Larratt? Let us know in the comments below.
