Arnold Schwarzenegger’s physique during his bodybuilding days is a dream as well as the ultimate goal for many bodybuilders over the years. Though he ventured into acting and politics, the Austrian Oak never forgot his bodybuilding roots. He even admits that the sport has helped him in having a vision for life. 

The 7x Mr.Olympia, however, wants his admirers to remember him for his morning routine. In an interview with MensHealth’s, he detailed the most important part of his life that contributed to his exemplary success in life.

The legend’s physique still inspires the fitness community. Though he admitted being on steroids for his frame, fans still consider him to be their bodybuilding Godfather. However, according to Men’sHealth the Austrian Oak wants to be remembered for his morning workout regime at the Gold’s gym.

Arnie confessed that he trains at 75 to, ”stay alive, to be able to do my movies.” His gym visits of late revolve around posing for photos and talking as he is not into a strenuous training routine. The gym environment reminds the legend of his youth in the Austrian village of Thal.

The Terminator loved partnership in the gym, the habit of which was inculcated at his native place. He followed the same principle in Venice Beach’s Gold Gym. His partners are his competitors like Dave Draper, Frank Zane, and Franco Columbo.  “There’s a certain energy in the gym that we used to have,” he revealed before adding “And I wanted everyone to feel that joy.” The bodybuilding legend credits his same morning routine over the years for his focus.

Arnie has a fixed routine in his mornings before which he would not start his thinking process. Every morning, he would make himself some coffee, and feed his dogs and donkeys Lulu and Whiskey, he shared in his newsletter

After sipping his coffee while going through newspapers, he would bike to his gym. His morning routine would end with breakfast.  “It’s been like this throughout my life,” he admits. Though initially motivated by Reg Park he credits his success to his routine.

Schwarzenegger is still going strong in his career having acted in FUBAR. With a book, documentary, newsletter, and social media influencing on cards, Arnie is still filled with the same passion for life and work.
