The four-time Mr. Olympia, Chris Bumstead, is only 28-years-old. He has already been in the industry for a while now. Bumstead thus shares his experience and feelings along the journey.

Chris Bumstead shares his analogy for journeys and goals

In a recent video posted by Chris on his YouTube channel, he talks about the usual dilemma people go through. Chris compares the introduction of a bodybuilding career to a journey through a forest. He explains that everyone has goals for the forest, but as soon as they step inside of it, it all becomes chaotic. The traveler can only take a step at a time to reach the end of it.

As the video progresses, he says, “When you prep for 10 years; you do 10 f***** years of competing. It’s going to be a difficult time. Your body and life get messy sometimes.” But he instantly reveals how grateful he feels because of the things he achieved and experienced throughout his career, even when it had been hard at times.

Chris knows how difficult times can get while focusing extensively on such a hectic career. But he also points out that if one has some people, they can get support from the process becomes easier.

In the video, CBum reveals that he feels excited about his upcoming years of career. He is pretty confident and happy with his team as well. Bumstead declares, “I got a good team behind me. I got great people, and super grateful to have such like a strong support system.” He reveals that when things resemble hell sometimes, he can lean on his team and well-wishers. Bumstead firmly states that “It really makes me feel a lot more secure, and just like confident in your ability.”

In the sport of bodybuilding, consistency is the key to success. Almost all the bodybuilders go through the chaotic phase when they cannot find a way out. However, if they believe in their support system as well as their achievements and goals, CBum states that they can reach their aims as he himself is doing so far.
