Bodybuilding not only gives people an ideal and flawless version of their physique, it also gives inspiring stories every day. It is not just about gaining muscle and looking dashing. It is also about fighting all the hurdles that life presents us. One such example is that of a nine-year-old boy who was on the verge of losing his life. In the process of survival, the doctors had to amputate a part of his hand and feet. People thought he would have to give up on his normal life.

This is where the boy took the reins in his hand and decided what was best for himself. He rose from the ashes like a Phoenix and did something that was impossible for most others.

Toseef Mughal comes back from the dead

In an Instagram video, Toseef Mughal shared his journey. The video first showed him as a little boy connected to all the hospital equipment with bandages all over his legs and hands. He looked frail. It then shows his feet and a part of his hand that had been amputated.

However, Mughal was not ready to give up. He resisted all hurdles to finally become a jacked and muscular bodybuilder. ?There is no victory without struggle,? wrote the young man and continued, ?Do the impossible.?

February 12, 2016 was when the 9-year-old boy lost his feet and a part of his hand. Toseef Mughal came back from school and was feeling sick. So his parents took him to the doctor. However, the doctor said that he was fine and sent him back home.

Mughal?s mother was not satisfied. She saw her son was not getting better and took him to the doctor again. The doctor said the same thing as before and sent him back home.?

He went to the family doctor with his parents, and that is when his body started deteriorating. Toseef was about to pass out when his family doctor suggested that they immediately need to take him to the hospital.

They airlifted him on a helicopter to be taken to the best hospital in Philadelphia for treatment. By the time he was in the helicopter, his heart rate had already stopped, and he had to be resuscitated.

He was in a coma for two weeks when blood stopped flowing to his hands and legs. That is why they had to be amputated. The boy fought death against all odds and came back to become a bodybuilding champion.?

Toseef?s inspiring story reminds of another incredible man who also became a bodybuilder after cheating death. Shane Dyck was paralyzed from the head down but rose from the dangerous situation to become a bodybuilder.

Shane Dyck proves anything is possible

In?2013, Shane Dyck who is the weather-in bodybuilding icon, rowing champion, and rugby player, went through a near-fatal accident. This accident left him completely paralyzed, and he also had to go through a huge spinal cord surgery. The injuries were severe, affecting his spine and puncturing his lungs, leading doctors to believe he might never walk again.?

He decided to briefly embark on a recovering journey, and start from scratch. The man relearned several things, including how to walk again. Shane?s sheer mental strength and zeal to survive, have gotten through the hardest times of his life. With slow steps and process, he regained his body movement and then started full-fledged exercising and 40-building again.
