The 52-YO American Hollywood sensation, Mark Wahlberg is among one of the few in the lot who continues to leave the entire bodybuilding community in awe with his fitness goals. His exceptional workout routines, his profound research of the journey, and his understanding of the human body are what make him stand out in the industry.

He hits the gym and has rigorous sessions training like the gym freak he is, and well, his diet never goes wrong. Apart from training and maintaining all the other disciplines, Wahlberg often takes up interesting challenges to keep his body fit. Despite the intense workout sessions, he recently even decided to give up on food!

Mark Wahlberg to fast till Turkey Day?

The American action star recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a Reel from his latest workout session. He was seen going through a gruesome routine, and well, the short snippets of each exercise were evidence enough to show how intense the workout session might have been. 

He began the video by flexing his insanely ripped abs and biceps, giving viewers a look at his impeccable physique. Then he started with some abs rollers, followed by hanging leg raises and swings for his abs. He then began his chest workout with a diverse number of moves, which included, but were not limited to, chest pulls and lower chest pulls. Flexing his bicep peak once again at the end of the video, he concluded the video.

However, despite all the toiling exercises, Wahlberg revealed that he’ll be fasting until Turkey Day, as mentioned in his caption. He wrote,Fasting until Turkey day!! @municipal 🥳❤️😎📈🔥 #MunicipalPartner”.

Despite what his caption suggests, he is not actually giving up on food as many might think. While that’s a clever word play which would leave many confused, the actor was actually talking about the current fasting diet that he follows. Perhaps on Thanksgiving, we’ll be seeing the actor diverting from his regular routine to feast on some good old turkey and casseroles. But till then, don’t expect the actor to vouch for cheat days just yet!  What’s clear is that apart from all the challenges that he keeps taking up, Wahlberg also ensures that he is consistent with his dieting plans.

Mark Wahlberg’s 18:6 fasting protocol

Mark Wahlberg never misses out on taking care of his diet in addition to his workouts. The actor currently follows the infamous eating protocol – the intermittent fasting. He keeps an 18 hour fast, and eats only during a six-hour window, indulging himself in high-protein food during that time. The 18:6 fasting protocol is known to bring about better weight loss results as compared to any other fasting plans according to Wahlberg, and so he relies on it maintain optimum fitness.

In an interview with GQ earlier this year, he said, “Normally with intermittent fasting, I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
