Even if you’re new to the fitness and bodybuilding industry, there’s one name that you must have heard about Eddie Hall, the former World’s Strongest Man. Hall is famous for breaking records and getting them under his name. In his usual style, Hall has now added one more record to his kitty.
In a recent video uploaded by the former Strongman on Instagram, he broke a punch record, surpassing the previous record by a great margin. While many might think that the task would have been difficult. It was a cakewalk for Hall as he joined another strongman legend to attempt the record.
Hall breaks the record in four punches

The video showcased Brian Shaw and Hall at the UFC gym, trying to break the world record for the strongest punch, which Hall succeeded. Although it took a few tries to break the record, he succeeded in rewriting the record books.

The first try got him approximately 130,000 Human Force franklin on the screen, then he punched again, and the meter went up to 150,00 Human Force franklin. But the Beast just didn’t stop there; he wanted to aim for the world record. The previous record was 191,796, held by UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira. The next try brought Hall closer to the record, and the machine recorded 168,339 Human Force franklin. The last punch, however, helped him scale the record, with the screen showing a score of 208,901 Human Force franklin.

However, the Beast’s fans are not impressed by his new world record and bashed him over his movements. Some even recalled the boxing match he had with the giant from Iceland, Hafthor Bjornsson, back in 2022. Thor defeated Hall twice in the boxing match. On the other hand, while being compared to the UFC athletes, fans criticized Hall for taking advantage of the little steps he took. Fans claimed Pereira made the record while standing in one place without taking any steps. Let’s find out how fans expressed their criticism.
Fans are in denial of the Beast’s new record
An Instagram user commented on the machine, claiming it not to be accurate, and wrote, “This machine is absolute bollocks; there’s no chance it’s accurate.” Another user used an old idiom for the Beast and commented, “Those who bark the loudest have no bite!” A UFC fan highlighted how Pereira made the record and commented, “Although this is very impressive, you have to remember that pereira got that 193k standing in one place.”

A bodybuilding enthusiast reminisced about the boxing match Hall and Thor had in 2022 and commented, “Couldn’t beat Thor tho….” Another fitness freak used his words smartly and commented, “And a broken hand.” Another UFC fan shed light on the difference between both athletes and wrote, “Imagine the force Pereira would have generated at the same body fat percentage as Eddie though.”
