46-year-old tech millionaire Bryan Johnson has worked hard to make Braintree a success. His labor of love paid off when e-commerce giant eBay acquired his company for $800 million. However, despite his success, intense and long working hours took their toll on Johnson’s health. So, the entrepreneur embarked on his holistic fitness journey, including working out, becoming vegan, and eventually fighting the signs of aging.

The concept of anti-aging inspired Bryan Johnson so much that he has turned himself into a sort of test subject. Johnson wanted to make tangible contributions to cutting-edge anti-aging research and began a journey to optimize his life. The millionaire meticulously crafted his life and even his surroundings to slow down and, ideally, reverse aging. However, even the man who optimizes every hour of every day isn’t opposed to testing out how strong he is.

However, the anti-aging advocate didn’t stop there.?“We’re gonna try to go up 10 pounds to get a new personal best,”?said the fitness enthusiast. The new personal best lift attempt was a massive jump from the previous set.?“The one before this is 680, I could feel it,”?Johnson said. However, despite being on a calorie-restrictive diet, the 46-year-old man nailed the 800lbs leg press.

After the lift, Johnson confessed,?“That felt good. I think I can go a little bit more, but It’s very very close to my max.”?While strength training isn’t his primary goal, Johnson still managed an impressive PB at 46. It’s also important to remember that while the anti-aging advocate is on a calorie-restrictive diet, he is also on a form of testosterone replacement therapy. He also doesn’t exclusively work with weights.
