Having won the Mr. Olympia title eight times in a row, he has indeed marked a spot for himself that is unforgettable. However, the road to success has been tremendously difficult for Coleman.
Having battled a total of 13 tumultuous surgeries, including a broken socket, replacement of both hips, surgery on his neck twice, and on his back a total of nine times, the willpower with which Coleman goes on to demonstrate his feats of strength is truly commendable. Well, the King, after 15 long years, once again reconnected with a sport that has been very close to his heart.

Ronnie Coleman recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a video of himself trying his hand at horse riding after 15 long years. In the caption, he wrote, “Yeah Buddy, time to go on a horse ride. I haven’t done this in over about 15 years. I’ve finally gotten down to the size where I can ride a horse.”

Given his enormously huge physique that the entire fitness community is absolutely gaga about, he always feared bringing a burden to the horse and thus had been afraid. He added, “At least the size where a horse feels comfortable with me on his back. I did have a lot of fun riding this horse. His name was Cupcake and we got along just fine. Not one time did he try to buck me off him.”

Well, the expression in the post is a standing testament to how happy Ronnie Coleman really was getting back to try horse riding after all he had been through. He even exclaimed the sacrifices he had to make in order to reach where he is today.

In one of the interviews with the JRE host, Joe Rogan, where Ronnie Coleman is called the best bodybuilder to ever exist, the King shared his journey to becoming the legend that he is today. When asked what he felt about being the King of bodybuilding, Coleman replied, “This is the price that I paid to be a legend.”

However, he even added that he took the surgeries as a life lesson to not take anything for granted and never let them come as a hurdle in between his dreams.
