Mr. Olympia is the most prestigious competition in the world of bodybuilding and every bodybuilder dreams of winning its trophy. Sometimes, athletes work really hard, but they miss their chance because of things beyond their control. A 242-pound bodybuilder from Iran wanted to join the Mr. Olympia contest for two years, but his visa got in the way.

He’s getting support from coach Milos Sarcev and the fitness community. He started a petition, and famous people are sharing it on social media.

Due to the restrictions made on visa permits by the United States, the super-aesthetic and perfectly muscular Iranian bodybuilder Behrooz Tabani can’t join Mr. Olympia’s 2023 competition, just like last year. He’s trained by a pro coach, Milos Sarcev, and it’s a pity for bodybuilding to miss out on such a talented person.

Bodybuilding coach Milos Sarcev shared updates on the Iranian bodybuilder’s visa on his Instagram account @milossarcev using two pictures. In the previous year, Tabani participated in the 2022 Romania Muscle Fest Pro in November. He secured the gold medal by defeating Brett “The Butcher” Wilkin, earning the final Men’s Open Mr. Olympia qualification for that season. Nevertheless, when it was time for Tabani to compete in the Mr. Olympia, he faced visa denial, preventing him from traveling to the United States.

This season, Tabani won the 2023 Arnold Classic South America, which qualified him for the Olympia contest. There’s a chance he might not make it to the Olympia contest in Orlando, Florida, from November 2 to November 5. Milos Sarcev took to his official Instagram account to show support for Tabani.

Milos Sarcev, using his official Instagram account @milossarcev, posted two pictures to tell about the Iranian bodybuilder’s visa process. The IFBB pro coach shared pictures of Tabani flexing in front of a mirror without a shirt. He’s wearing red shorts and stretchy clothes. The second picture is a close-up, showing all the fine muscle details Tabani has built over the years.

In the caption, Sarcev wrote, “@behrooz_tabani in Dubai…Visa situation: APPLICATION IS SUBJECT TO ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING that can take days or even – months!” Even in 2021, Ukrainian bodybuilder Vlad Suhoruchko couldn’t join the Mr. Olympia contest because they denied his visa.
