Bodybuilding champion Nick Walker, also known by the name The Mutant, is ready to enter the New York Pro scheduled for May this year. Walker’s return to bodybuilding comes after a forced hiatus that saw him withdraw from the 2023 Mr. Olympia after suffering a hamstring injury.

As the New York Pro nears, a recent post uploaded a few hours ago by bodybuilding page Bis and Tris gave a sneak peek of the Mutant’s behemoth physique. Despite showcasing such gigantic muscles, fans did not seem majorly impressed by the bodybuilder’s physique.

There was something in the picture that might grab the attention of many. There was a bruise near Walker’s right shoulder. However, Bis and Tris clarified that “The bruise is due to cupping; it’s not a tear.” For Walker, the New York Pro is definitely familiar turf, as he had won the show back in 2021. But now the competition is going to be fierce, the defending champion Toni Burton going to be in attendance.

Even as he showcases a shredded physique, it seemed like Walker fans had expected a lot more. Unimpressed with his current physique, many took the comments section of the post.

He’s huge and very muscular for sure, but very disproportionate (the upper and lower body).” He continued and compared him to other open-division bodybuilders, writing, “With guys like Samson, Derek, Hadi, Rafael and Andrew, I don’t know where such an unappealing physique can fit.” Another user made bold predictions about Walker’s NY Pro standings and wrote,” Definitely NOT top 3.”
