Ever since he played the role of the Mountain in the hit series Game of Thrones, Bjornsson has been garnering a lot of attention. And recently, he even made the headlines as he opened up about his progress following his injury.

Hafthor Bjornsson has good news for his fans

A few months ago, the Icelandic bodybuilder’s injury took the Strongman and bodybuilding circuits by surprise. Hafþór suffered a severe pec tear while performing an insanely heavy bench press of 556 lbs. It was a tough time for Thor to pass the period. Recently, The Mountain took to his YouTube channel to share his progress with his fans.

In a video, he showcased his current condition of the chest muscle. “I want to show you quickly how my pec muscle is looking when I squeeze it,” he said in the video. Despite being out of practice for over 30 weeks, the Mountain looked impressive, still maintaining decent size and form. However, the real highlight of the video was him displaying the condition of his chest and how it looked after squeezing the muscle.

He openly revealed that he was 32 weeks into his recovery post-injury and was feeling much more improvement in his lower back. The tear that created a hole in his chest was not as visible when he flexed his muscles; which was an encouraging sign of progress. “I cannot see any hole; can you see any hole?”, he said.

Acknowledging the support he received, he gave a heartfelt shout-out to his medical experts, who stood by him throughout this challenging journey. The star bodybuilder has been constantly dropping all the major updates about his body and recovery since the injury, and the latest video would definitely bring a sigh of relief among his fans as now he is gaining momentum. While the Icelandic bodybuilder did not reveal anything about whether he is going back to training or not, his fans will be hoping to see Thor lifting insane weights again soon.
