Before you fully dive into the bodybuilding scene, it’s crucial to know about gym etiquette. After all, it’s really important to treat each other with respect and kindness, even when we’re working out. But it seems like two girls at the gym missed the memo on that.

Going to a commercial gym, one of them was seen complaining about people coming up to her to ask how many sets they are left with. Well, this first infuriated the CEO of fitness positivity and the moment the IFBB Pro coach saw the video, it enraged him too.

Greg Doucette took up the matter into his own hands and shared a YouTube video on why this is inappropriate behavior. In the video, Doucette says, “We got two girls and they think they own the world commercial gyms are so annoying”. The girls are seen saying that they are so h*t, that they should not have to be talking to people in the gym.

They are complaining about how difficult their life is just because people who are waiting to use the same equipment as they are, ask them how many sets they are left with. To this, Greg Doucette says, “So I’m fully expecting them to say these guys are being inappropriate that they’re staring at them perhaps making them feel uncomfortable”.

He continues to explain that the gym is a public space, not their personal spot, and others might need to use the same equipment. Asking about sets politely doesn’t mean someone is hitting on them. That’s exactly what Joey Swoll, the CEO of Gym Positivity, highlighted.

What did Joey Swoll tell about the girls?

Joey Swoll, a week ago, brought out the matter and made it public. Sharing the video, he captioned it,There is NOTHING wrong with asking someone politely how many sets they have left especially in a busy commercial gym.” He further suggests to the two ladies that if they find the commercial gyms so annoying, it is better that they spend that sort of money and work out in peace in a private gym.

Joey Swoll also points out that even if they go to a private gym, there will still be people out there as it is still a shared space. People in private gyms have a 100% right to ask you about how many sets you are left with if they wish to use the same equipment. He adds, “Remember, they paid the same amount of money for the membership to use the same equipment, you don’t own it.” What are your thoughts about the incident?
