The bodybuilding icon referred to a study published in The New England Journal of Medicine to discuss the effectiveness of the MIND diet. The study compared a low-calorie diet with one focused on brain health. After studying 600 people for three years, the results were surprising. “The scientists found that both groups improved their cognitive scores, and neither group showed a more significant change in their brain structures,” wrote Arnold in his newsletter.
