Imagine hopping on the treadmill in comfy clothes while tuning into a peaceful podcast as the sun’s rays fall on the skin. There is no hurry to pull the weights, nor is there any tedious queue in front of the machines. Moreover, one does not have to spend hours thinking about trendy gym get-ups or those disapproving looks. Additionally, one saves up on gas by skipping the commute to the gym, doing their bit for the planet. Well, the dream has become a reality in the form of “cozy cardio,” pioneered by Hope Zuckerbrow.

A New York Post article by Asia Grace brings to light the viral TikTok exercise method, which is antithetical to the HIT training method. In the interview, 24-year-old Allie Bennett informed the readers of this new-age lifestyle that helped her take care of her body. Like her, many reaped the benefits of the workout designed by wellness influencer Hope Zuckerbrow.

Hope Zuckerbrow started working out in comfortable places after she regained some of the weight she had lost. The fitness creator wanted to tune into the needs of her health without having to juggle the intimidation of a gym experience. Moreover, she was “terrified” of working out in public, Zuckerbrow told the New York Post. She said, “I’ve been doing cozy cardio consistently for five days a week over the past five months.” It made her go from “size 16 in jeans down to a size 12.”

Furthermore, the 25-year-old revealed her reasons for devising the ingenious method of self-acceptance while simultaneously caring for the body. “I wanted to take the weight back off in a way that felt good to me, not like punishment… I’m a cozy girl to the core—I love feeling comfortable no matter what I’m doing—and cozy cardio has deeply improved my relationship with my body and exercise,” stated the content creator.

The TikTok posts by the health icon have garnered 1.7 million views, and the hashtag “cozy cardio” is trending. Zuckerbrow is methodical about the process. She begins her day at 5:15 a.m., drinks a protein-rich iced coffee, plays a movie, and lights up some scented candles while she treads on her walking pad. Stress-free cardio has become a movement of resistance, empowering women from all walks of life to lead a low-impact lifestyle.
