In a recent video uploaded by MuscleMindMedia, the bodybuilding icon talked about his egg-loaded diet. He talked about his routine of consuming eggs both on and off-season. Revealing his intake of eggs during his career, he said, “I would take in as many as, you know, twelve or 15 whole eggs a day, you know, training for competition and all seasons to develop. I never believed in just taking egg yellows away, because the fact of the matter is the egg yellow contains something called lecithin and choline, which have their own fat burning property.” he added.

According to Lee Hanley, egg yolks have their own health benefits. He believed that yolks were effective in driving weight loss results. When he got closer to any competition, he would have a special egg diet. Revealing his diet, he said, “As I got closer to a show, I would do a mixture of maybe three egg whites and two whole eggs per meal.

Needless to say, Hany’s words do hold some say considering that his diet drove him to lift the Sandow trophy eight times. However, one should not forget that along with a dedicated workout routine, his overall eating regimen had a huge role in helping him clinch the titles. In an earlier interview, Haney revealed his thoughts on the diets bodybuilders should follow.
