The strongman champion astounded fans by showcasing significant progress in a recent Instagram post, where he effortlessly lifted 330 pounds for four reps. He humbly attributed his success to the wonders of muscle memory, highlighting the sweet journey of improvement.

 

He expressed in his caption, “A few weeks ago I was struggling with 150kg (330 Lbs). Here I am pushing 150kg (330 Lbs) for an easy 4 reps. Muscle memory is a sweet thing.” As the father of one gears up for the 2024 Arnold Classic Strongman competition, he aims to surpass his records. Bjornsson recalled about his awe-inspiring achievement in 2019 when he set the record at 1044 pounds on the Arnold Strongman stage.

Additionally, his journey in the sport has been a rollercoaster, facing a pectoral injury while lifting an astounding 550lbs in 2023 and undergoing surgery. After making a comeback, he admitted that, for a while, he would not compete in powerlifting; instead, he would take part in the strongman competition at his own pace. Now, as The Mountain aims to conquer new heights, his fans flooded the Instagram post with astonishment.
