Bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler faced his share of troubles growing up on a small farm in Sterling, Massachusetts, United States. While his parents, unfortunately, got divorced when he was way too young, he was mainly looked after by his elder brothers and sisters as his dad worked hard to earn the bread for the family.

In order to survive, the bodybuilding legend had to help his family financially by starting to work from the tender age of 11. Not to mention, all these years of hard work and dedication surely helped Cutler learn a lot about life at a very young age. His father instilled in him a lot of good qualities, including a good work ethic and discipline. As Cutler said his last goodbyes to his father a couple of years ago, he looks back at the good times that he shared with his father in a recent Instagram post.

“It’s been a couple years since my dad passed and I often talk about the work ethic he instilled in me to become, the best at what I did. I can’t believe it’s been 10 full years. I miss you dad!!!! Thank you for always being there to support my journey,” Cutler wrote. Upon coming across this emotional post, many bodybuilding veterans expressed their emotions in the comments section.
