Chris Bumstead’s Fiancée Reminisces About Labor Days: “Grateful to Have Had the Birth Team I Did”

The bodybuilding icon Chris Bumstead and his partner Courtney King recently welcomed a new member to their family: a beautiful baby girl named Bradley Shey Bumstead. His fiancée, Courtney King, took to Instagram to share glimpses of their journey leading up to Bradley’s arrival, offering fans a heartfelt glimpse into their labor day memories.

Courtney’s Instagram stories were filled with adorable pictures capturing intimate moments between her, CBum, and their newborn daughter. Each image shared a piece of their journey, from the anticipation building among fans to the extra week Bradley took before making her grand entrance into the world.

In a heartwarming post, Courtney King reflected on the intense 18-hour labor she endured, with Bumstead by her side. She expressed gratitude for the support of her birth team, emphasizing how their presence made all the difference during such a transformative experience. “Last week this time I was in powerful active labor. It got more & more intense and I’m so grateful to have had the birth team I did,” she shared, accompanied by a touching photo of her and Cbum.

She also shared her deep love and appreciation for Bumstead, “I love you so much, couldn’t have done this without you babe.” Amidst reminiscing her journey, Courtney vividly recalled the moments leading up to Bradley’s birth.

From tracking contractions at home to finally making their way to the hospital, every step was filled with anticipation and love. She humorously recounted how even their furry family member seemed to sense the impending arrival of their little one.

Subsequently, during the labor, Courtney found solace in unconventional methods to cope with the pain. Which included squeezing a birth comb and enlisting CBum and her mom to help ease the discomfort. Despite facing challenges along the way, she remained resilient, focusing on the support of her team and the prospect of meeting her daughter.

After enduring 18 hours of labor and 2.5 hours of pushing, Bradley Shey Bumstead made her debut, bringing immense joy and pride to her parents. She gave birth to Bradley on 22nd, April. Courtney expressed her profound sense of accomplishment, remarking, “I have never felt more accomplished & proud of myself in my entire life.” Amid their joy, Courtney took a moment to extend her gratitude to everyone who had reached out with well wishes and support.

Though unable to respond to every message personally, she wanted everyone to know how much their kindness meant to her during such a monumental time.
