Five-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead and his fiancée, Courtney King, became parents on April 22. Luckily, Courtney King felt the joy of celebrating Mother’s Day with her newborn less than a month into motherhood. CBum’s bride-to-be posted a heartwarming selfie of herself and her baby, Bradley Shay Bumstead, on her Instagram story.

“Happy Mother’s Day from me and my little love,” wrote the former Bikini Ms. Olympia champion. The photograph captured her daughter calmly sleeping without a worry in the world as King cradled her in her arms. The 30-year-old new mother didn’t just celebrate herself but also honored all mothers and those who are on their way to becoming mothers.

Chris Bumstead gave the mother of his child a special, custom-made gift. Courtney King posted a clip of the book Mommy’s Magic Hugs with the subtitle “For Bradley.” The reigning Classic Physique champion dedicated the book to his fiancée and baby, with a note on the front page. “Dear Mommy & Bradley, My two special ladies who are my EVERYTHING,” wrote CBum.

“I love you both so much and am so grateful to have you in my life. I promise to take care of you FOREVER,” added Chris Bumstead. The former bodybuilding champion also wished a happy Mother’s Day to her mom. Kinga’s picture of her mom and herself when she was a baby. “Happy Mother’s Day to my heart & soul – my mom,” wrote the 30-year-old.

“I love you more than anything. Forever your baby I’ll be @debii_king,” added the former bodybuilding champion. Besides Chris Bumstead surprising her with the gift, her friends sent her tons of snacks. King’s bother sent her bouquet with the note, “Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful sister.” It seems May 12, 2024, was quite an eventful day for Courtney King. However, Bradley Shay Bumtsead’s life has also been eventful so far.

Baby Bumstead underwent a minor surgery

On May 2, Courtney King posted on social media, informing fans that her baby required minor surgery. “My sweet baby had a lip & tongue tie procedure done,” wrote King on her Instagram story. She explained that her baby girl was having trouble breastfeeding, so doctors recommended it. Seeing her baby suffer filled King with anguish, but she said it would help her in the long run.

King posted a positive update on little Bradley’s health. While the newborn was yet to get the hang of things, King said things got easier for her little girl. Chris Bumstead also took time out of his busy schedule and was there for his partner and newborn throughout the ordeal. However, with the surgery behind them, Courtney King enjoyed her first Mother’s Day with her husband-to-be and loved ones.
