The five-time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead is on a hot roll this year, living the dream life. Bumstead became a father and recently opened a new gym as well. After the grand opening of his gym, Raw Athletic Club, he did a grueling arms workout with his current coach, Hany Rambod, and ex-coach, Ian Valliere.

After wrapping up the event at the five-time Mr. Olympia’s gym, the trio went to his home gym to train arms. The GymShark athlete and CBum’s friend David Laid, also joined them in their workout. The Classic Physique dominating bodybuilder even shared a valuable tip while working out. One that many gymgoers will find beneficial.

The King of Classic Physique and Valliere started their workout with the basic easy bar bicep curls but with heavy weights. The Pro Creator took up his usual role of fixing their forms and pushing them to the verge of failure. After the curls, they moved to the exercise that Pro Creator is known for, one that just a few days ago, he had made Joseph Baena do.

They did a few sets of the reversed incline bench barbell curls. The Pro Creator followed the partial reps approach, increasing the time under tension. While doing a set of this exercise, the five-time Mr. Olympia gave a valuable tip on choosing what muscle to train after an event. He said, “Little post-event day arm day is the best; never hit legs after an event; it’s always arms.”

They further moved to a few sets of preacher bicep curls, and the Pro Creator fixed Valliere’s grip while doing the reps. Then the trio did a few sets of triceps exercises, starting with triceps pushdowns, then engaging in reverse grip triceps pushdowns. For the culmination of the workout, Rambod made the duo hit a few sets on the tricep pushdown machine.

The sessions that Rambod had with Valliere and CBum were very similar to what the Pro Creator put Baena, Shizzy, and Martinez through on their arms day. Let’s find out how he trained the three fitness influencers.

Rambod’s Arms Day with the YoungLA influencers

Rambod started their training with a proper workout, doing a few sets of bicep curls on the cable machine. After completing the warmup, they moved to the hammer curls. After completing the exercise, they moved on to the 49-year-old bodybuilding coach’s favorite bicep exercise. The trio did the reversed incline bench barbell curls turn by turn.

Rambod made the three fitness enthusiasts do a five-second pause on top and even made them do partial reps. The pause increased the time under tension, giving them better results. The trio also did seated skull crushers with an easy bar and wrapped up their workout with a close-grip bench press. Among the fitness influencers, Shizzy lifted the most.
