Five-time Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead recently visited Brazil as the bodybuilding icon has some time off at the moment. Since he isn’t competing in the Arnold Classic 2024 and recently got a hair transplant, Bumstead sure does have some time on his hands. So before starting his off-season training schedule, the reigning King of Classic Physique visited his on-stage arch-rival, Ramon Dino.
The two-time Classic Physique Olympia runner-up first posted pictures of Chris Bumstead on his Instagram. Shortly after that, the reigning champion also posted snippets of his Brazil visit. While Dino wrote that the pair were making history in Brazil, Bumstead appreciated the country and its people in his post.

“Had a beautiful time here in Brazil with some amazing people,” said the Canadian bodybuilding icon. Besides working out with Ramon Dino, he also spent time with Dino’s friends and family. Bumstead shared multiple photos of eating out with his new friends and acquaintances. While we don’t know if the 28-year-old filmed a workout video with his rival, he might’ve filmed a podcast with someone else.

In one of the images, Chris Bumstead and another person looked like they were filming a podcast. The background LED screen had the logo Estudios Flow. CBum praised the entire experience. “Great hospitality, great steak, and some great weather,” Bumstead wrote in the caption. However, he has one minor gripe. “Not so great traffic,” joked the bodybuilding icon.
“Appreciate all the love from everyone I had the chance to meet,” wrote the grateful champion, while also hoping to return to Brazil in the future with “some exciting new opportunities.” However, Bumstead’s constant companion and fiance, Courtney King, didn’t travel to Brazil, probably because of her pregnancy. While this was CBum’s first trip to Brazil, this isn’t the first time he has collaborated with Ramon Dino.

The two rivals are friends off-stage
While Chris Bumstead and Ramon Dino might not give one another an ich on the Olympia stage, they do not harbor animosity. Their rivalry on stage is also a friendly one. Hence, it is no surprise that Bumstead would collaborate with Ramon Dino in Brazil. The duo previously collaborated in March 2023 after Dino won the Arnold Classic Physique 2023.
Back then, the two met at the gym in Phonix, Arizona and Dino posted an image where he wore a T-Rex mask with CBum standing right behind him. Just like their most recent meeting, the 2023 collaboration was also a surprise that delighted their fans, in line with Chris Bumstead’s habit of surprising fans from time to time.
