Chris Bumstead’s suggestion of ‘Blastoise’ as the middle name

Yes, you heard it right! In late March, during a Q&A session alongside his fiancée, Cbum excitedly talked about their upcoming baby girl’s name. He hinted it starts with a ‘B’ and jokingly suggested naming her after the Pokémon Blastoise. Explaining his idea, he said it would be funny to have all ‘B’s in her name.

He even explained Blastoise’s connection to Pokémon. Though he suggested ‘Blastoise’ as a middle name, Courtney vetoed it, insisting on a non-Pokémon name. They kept the conversation light and fun, leaving fans curious about the actual name they’ll choose for their daughter. While sharing the news with fans that they were blessed with a baby girl, they revealed the name of their first child: Bradley Shay Bumstead. Thankfully, Courtney disapproved of using a Pokémon character’s name as the middle name.
