Chris Bumstead, one of the most iconic athletes in the new era of bodybuilding had been under the training of Iain Valliere for several years. However, in 2022, his trainer-turned-brother-in-law parted ways with him in the professional field as they both wanted to focus equally on the Mr. Olympia championship.

In 2022, Chris Bumstead started training under the Pro bodybuilding coach Hany Rambod, who has turned around the lives of several elite fitness influencers, leading to Bumstead winning the 2022 Mr. Olympia Classic Physique title. After his victory, CBum is all set to take over the title for the fourth time, and well his preparations are indeed intense. Recently, sharing a snippet from their training, Rambod compared Bumstead to a character from Star Wars.

Also known as The Pro Creator, coach Hany Rambod recently took to his official Instagram account @hanyrambod and shared a picture of him training Chris Bumstead for the Mr. Olympia 2023. Working as a team, they both look all set to win the title once again this year.

Next, Rambod put up a picture of Luke Skywalker carrying Yoda on his back, taken from a scene of Star Wars. He put the picture as a comparison humorously mimicking CBum as Luke Skywalker. In the caption, he wrote, “What it looks like vs how I feel @cbum”.

Well, they indeed are an A-team when it comes to the gym, but it is rather hard to believe that when the professional bodybuilding coach, who has trained several well-known athletes and made his client win a total of 22 Mr. Olympia titles, received the proposal from CBum for training him, it came as a rather shock to him.

Hany Rambod was nervous about taking up Chris Bumstead

Hany Rambod, who has trained significant figures like Jay Cutler, Jeremy Buendia, Jenny Lynn, and even the 7X Mr. Olympia champion Phil Heath, was not very sure that he was ready to be responsible for an already existing bodybuilding champion like Chris Bumstead. All his career, he has only trained beginners, defeated athletes, or bodybuilders who wish to change the training philosophy.

Becoming a trainer to the young Chris Bumstead was an extremely daunting task for him and well, he was skeptical about embarking on this new endeavor.
