Well, Phil Heath has made it happen and undoubtedly has one of the most aesthetic physiques in the sphere of the sport.
But well, he too, just like the 2-3% of Americans, has been suffering from body dysmorphia for the past 20 years. It took a lot of courage for him to come up with it and confess recently. Although he is doing everything to keep it in control, he has also been acting upon it to get certain aspects fixed. The 7 time Mr. Olympia champion recently announced getting a facial feature remade to look better.
Phil Heath gets his front tooth fixed

Phil Heath recently took to his official Instagram account @philheath and shared a video of himself where he is seen visiting a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Brian Harris’ office to get his tooth fixed that he had chipped earlier. In the caption, he thanks him for getting it fixed and giving him the smile he has always desired to have.

He even mentioned how he managed to chip his teeth. Health wrote, “Over the last 20 years I’ve spent A LOT of time eating for my career as well as clinching and grinding my teeth while in the gym. In 2016 when I was 2 weeks out from the Mr.Olympia contest, I bit into my fork and chipped my front tooth🤣 So I finally decided it was time to fix my smile and bite.”

Phil Heath’s level of excitement about getting his tooth fixed is pretty much evident in the video, and well, this is one of the certain ways that helps him keep his body dysmorphia under control. However, there are more ways for him to cope.

In one of his Instagram posts earlier, he even revealed the struggles he often faces because of the problem he is associated with. He wrote, “Body dysmorphia is real!!! It’ll truly steal the joy out of your days making yourself believe that you’re not good enough and you’ll never ever reach your goal.”

However, according to him, it is only you who can be your biggest cheerleader and only falling in love with yourself bit by bit is the key to dealing with this psychiatric condition. Heath stated, “I want you guys to all know that you’re strong and you are extremely worthy. but you have to start with loving yourself. you cannot love others the way that you want to if you can’t show love to yourself and show grace to yourself”. Moreover, he added, “Many are already rooting for you but the biggest person who is cheering you on is your ultimate personal version of self! You’re worthy! Answer that call right now!
