However, Heath still hits the gym with the same enthusiasm. His recent gym session triggered some happy hormones, and he shared his joy with his fans on Instagram.
The 7x Mr.Olympia was not missing his workout sessions for the past three weeks and was feeling great about it. So, he persuaded his followers to cater time to fitness just like him. The bodybuilder also left a comment of appreciation on the post for a follower who is an ardent gym-goer despite his spinal cord injury.

The 43-year-old champion posted a picture of his elated self with the caption, “Happy AF!!!” He further admitted that “Gym is my therapy!!!” He advised his 4M followers in the post to work out as it would help in stimulating positivity in mind. “Moving your body can really get your mind and spirit flowing in a positive direction,” he emphasized.
A man who suffered a spinal cord injury reiterated The Gift’s motivational message. He dropped a text affirming, “I must say putting aside time to hit the gym has definitely brighten up my life while going through this spinal cord injury,” in the comment section.

Having learned the man’s story Heath was quick to reply to his message praising his mental strength. He wrote, “@themanster310 definitely has proven he’s a champion beyond muscles.” Heath further saluted his determination to hit the gym irrespective of critical injury. Heath has similar values to push beyond boundaries. The bodybuilder back in the day struggled without barriers to keep his promise to his father.

Once when training under Hany Rambod, Heath pushed himself without a break while working out. He did so as he was reiterating his father’s words of “keep moving” in his head. He later confessed, “I thought well…I got to go to a place where I’m almost hallucinating,” during the session.

Though called ‘The Gift,’ Phil Heath earned the title of Mr. Olympia seven times with sheer hard work. He never compromised on his diet and workout regime all around the year.
