It is clear from the caption that Kaufman prefers the close-grip bench press technique. Previously Charles Glass, the Godfather of bodybuilding, also recommended dips with a narrow grip. According to him, this would allow for a greater focus?on the chest muscle while minimizing the pain in the joints and back.
However, he also recommended a decline branch press that requires a wider grip, which will put more pressure on the joints while also engaging the lower pecs. This two-step strategy was offered by Glass to maintain an effective approach to chest development.
In this latest video uploaded by Kaufman, fans have different opinions according to their personal experiences with the bench press exercise.
