Hollywood icon Harrison Ford has entertained people across the globe for five decades. He portrayed iconic characters like Han Solo from Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Despite hitting his prime in the 80s, Jones and Solo are still some of the most popular characters in cinematic history. Now, Ford is putting on the fedora for one last time in?Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny.?And in a recent interview with People Magazine, Ford opened up on how it felt to portray an old Indiana Jones.

Neither Ford nor his character Indy is young anymore. Hence the creative team adapted the character to suit the 80-year-old actor. While he does action scenes in the film, they are not as intense as the first three installments of the Indiana Jones franchise. And when Ford was asked how he felt about aging, the actor gave a brave and startling answer.??

Despite the supervision of experts, Ford admitted to hurting his shoulder on the second day of shooting the film. Unfortunately, the toll that age took on his body has prevented the 80-year-old from recovering quickly. The Star Wars actor said he was still recovering at the time of the interview. However, he made another astonishing revelation.

While most actors, especially action stars like?Arnold Schwarzenegger, miss what they could do in their youth, Ford is the opposite.?“I don?t want to be young again,”?said the Hollywood icon.?“I was young, and now I enjoy being old,”?he added. Harrison Ford admitted that?“You are certainly physically diminished by age.”?However, Ford told People?there are many upsides to growing old.

The experiences and wisdom he gathered through 80 years of life have enriched him. There is an?“ease in it,”?he said. Similarly, the iconic actor also doesn’t care about many of the things about the characters he portrayed on the silver screen.

During an interview with Esquire Magazine, Harrison Ford revealed what kind of questions fans would ask him.?“Well, they usually ask me, ?If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who would f***in? win?'”?revealed the leading man. However, while actors like Henry Cavill often immerse themselves in the lore of certain characters, the acclaimed actor doesn’t.

While the 80-year-old loved portraying those characters on screen, he couldn’t care less about such questions.?“What are you asking me that c**p for?”?he often replies to people who ask him such questions, revealed Ford. According to Ford, he enjoys acting rather than acting as certain characters and pondering every detail about them.
