Chris Bumstead is living the best life right now. He just won an Olympia for the 5th time in his life, found out that he is going to be a father soon, and has his family, friends, and fianc? by his side. Even through all the hardships of having an autoimmune disease, an injury just 10 days before the 2023 Olympia, and a stressful morning of the competition, he fought all hurdles and won the title with exceptional conditioning.?

Bumstead uploaded a heartfelt post on Instagram about his philosophy of life and mindset that helped him pursue?bodybuilding?for more than 10 years.

In this video, Bumstead is posing in his gym and showing his muscle striations. His physique looks just like a Greek God with power and strength oozing from every massive muscle in his body. He is standing proud and strong while Bumstead?s fianc? and the mother of his child click the video.

The caption reads, ?This was probably the first year I looked at my check-in videos (at least at the end of prep) and let myself feel pride and excitement for what I was doing in the midst of it all.? Bumstead spoke about keeping oneself in line but also not pressurizing too much which can be difficult in this industry. He said, ?It?s difficult to balance being hard enough on yourself to keep getting better, while not being too hard on yourself to crush your self-worth.? Bumstead gave his example and said, ?I used to live under this constant pressure, at times I still do, and I even thought I needed to live like this to be my best. But my 10 years of experience competing has allowed me to better separate (not fully, but better) my self-worth from my success as a bodybuilder.?

Lastly, he gave some profound words of wisdom about self-worth and believing in oneself. He wrote, “The beautiful thing about life is how it?s ever-changing, what drives us now may not be what drives us in the future.”?These words coming from a champion bodybuilder like Bumstead might make the fans emotional and realize their purpose in life. Not only did the champ announce his present mindset in this new post but he had another surprise to share with his followers.

Chris Bumstead announces another surprise

Posting?pictures of himself with Courtney, he simply wrote, ?Baby Bum Coming 2024.???The couple shared a carousel of pictures where she was showing her baby bump and both looked extremely happy.

The couple also posted a picture of the baby?s sonogram. He got engaged to Courtney in October 2022. They have been dating since 2018 and she has been a pillar of strength for Bumstead which helped him win the competitions according to the bodybuilding star.
