In a recent video uploaded by Jay Cutler on YouTube, the legend can be seen sharing his experience about how “cardio is anti-productive in order to build muscle”. Even though one can discover countless health benefits to include cardio in their workout routine, Cutler believes that cardio is not effective in gaining muscles and mass.
To build muscles, dedicated training with a high volume of 20 sets for different body parts or training twice a day can make way for a chiseled physique. He also suggests cardio as it helps boost appetite and can kick-start muscles muscle-building process. But Cutler said, “I would rather focus on the gym doing crazy high Volume.”

Early to bed and early rise are two important factors that affect one’s life every single day. This is something he suggests and follows. Recently he posted a video to open up on his sleep routine. He said, “I just laid down at nine o’clock and I woke up early, I did take a nap during the day too.”
