Renowned entity in the fitness industry, Chris Hemsworth has proven his mettle with his insane transformations over the years for his roles in various Hollywood movies. Carrying a mass-monster physique, Hemsworth weighs in at around 200 lbs. After lifting weights for a long time now, Hemsworth already has the required knowledge and experience. However, despite this, his transformation last year for his role in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ was challenging for the actor.

Hemsworth has opened up about this, having revealed his experience with this transformation on multiple occasions. In a YouTube video posted by Will Cozens, he talked about Hemsworth’s transformation for the movie, adding clips of Hemsworth talking about this. While he has done this before, Hemsworth admits that this time it was a lot more difficult because of the diet that he had to follow.

While Hemsworth originally belongs to the entertainment industry, his love for fitness, along with the Greek-god physique that he carries, has made him quite reputed in the fitness and bodybuilding spheres as well. While there is no denying that being on a good diet is more than important for changing your physique, Hemsworth rightly pointed out that after a while, eating every once in a few hours can be exhausting and overwhelming.

I worked my bu*t off literally for this film. First time I played Thor, I was like, shirt off, no worries. And I knew in my mind the dream was buns out,” Hemsworth stated. However, it wasn’t as easy as Hemsworth expected it to be. “I gotta eat a ridiculous amount of protein, workout a lot and a lot and a lot, hopefully get the result,” Chris said.

Adding to this, the 40-year-old disclosed, “This was the most I’ve ever eaten. Every couple of hours is another meal. It starts off you’re like, “yeah, cool. Yeah. And by like week three or four, you’re like, I can’t do this anymore.”” What many viewers fail to realize is the fact that this was not the end of Hemsworth’s test. Just a short while later, he was supposed to transform his physique again for his next role in ‘Extraction 2.’ He had to change his look from an extremely muscular ‘Greek god’ to an athletic commando.

In a video posted by Netflix a few weeks ago on YouTube, Chris as well as the cast disclosed the process and the struggles faced by Hemsworth during this transition. In order to look like a soldier and to get leaner, Hemsworth had to lose a bit of muscle to improve his flexibility for the physically demanding role.

“It is the hardest thing I have ever been involved in,” Hemsworth disclosed about the role. Giving further insights into the challenges that Hemsworth faced, his co-star Golshifteh Farahani revealed that the crew was often training for up to 11 hours. “We were working from 8:00 to 7:00. A lot of preparation on the body, army training,” she said.
