Keone Pearson is an accomplished bodybuilder who has recently embraced a historic win in the 212 division at Olympia 2023. With his monstrous body, he gave tough competition to his opponents and registered a victory over the most esteemed stages of bodybuilding. He dethroned Shaun Clarida and clinched the title. 

While Clarida secured 2 positions in the competition, Pearson came at the top for the 212 division. On the other hand, Derek Lunsford became the first bodybuilder to win the Mr. Olympia title from two different divisions. The 2X Mr. Olympia has introduced the world to his sheer excellence and talent. Even though the Olympia has been concluded, debates and discussions are still being held about the winner on the internet. Recently, the jury of bodybuilders and coaches made a comparison between the two winners of the competition raising the eyebrows of many in the bodybuilding world.

Does 2023 Olympia winner Derek Lunsford lack good shape 

It has been many days since the prestigious Olympia concluded with its illustrious winner Derek Lunsford. However, people are still in the mood to talk about the winners and their physiques. Recently, a comparison was made between Derek Lunsford and Keone Pearson. In a recent video uploaded by the Muscle and Fitness YouTube channel, Milos Sarcev, Dennis James, and Chris Cormier held a discussion related to Olympia and its winner. Along with this, towards the end of the video, the legends hailed Pearson for having a better shape than Derek. The IFBB coach, Milos Sarcev asked Chris and Dennis, “who has the better shape Derek or Keon.” 

After which, both Chris and Dennis reiterated Keaon as the king of the best shape than Derek. They said, “probably maybe Keon I think Keon too I think Keon is better Derek is a little bit drier from the back but he doesn’t have more back detail shape.” Moreover, both of them also hailed the shot that Keon Pearson gave during the competition.

Keon is grateful after his win in Olympia

In one of his recent posts, he wrote on his Instagram account, “WE DID IT!!!!!!! AND YOUR NEW 212 MR.O !! God is GREAT & so are all of my supporters. I’m truly at a loss for words.” The 212 Olympia winner went on to say, “But if there’s one thing I want to say to you all… it’s believe in yourself. Believe in yourself even when it’s hard. Believe in yourself even when others don’t. Without self-worth and confidence, goals are simply pipe dreams.”

Through this post, Pearson showed that self-confidence during odds and struggle can make a big difference and his Olympia win is a real example of it. Showing gratitude to those who congratulated him, he said, “Thank you so much to the @mrolympiallc @t_manion @bevsgym @immanion @dansolomon_official all of the judges and the rest of the Olympia/|FBB family!
