Jeremy Buendia, the powerhouse bodybuilder known for his massive shoulders, recently made his comeback at the Mr. Olympia stage. Despite participating after five years, he clinched the top five in his division. The four-time Mr. Olympia has always been a fan favorite. However, in a recent post, he opened up about his emotions and addressed the comments from his fans.

In this Instagram video, Buendia showcased his sculpted physique with his relaxed poses. Instead of the usual praise and compliments, the comment section took a surprising turn. Fans started talking about how they had been following his journey for ages. These comments made him feel like a veteran bodybuilder in the eyes of his viewers.

The bodybuilding icon, in the accompanying caption of his video, revealed his emotions, by stating, “I been doing this for half my life now.” What followed was a revelation that surprised some of his ardent supporters, the fact that he would be turning 34 this year.

Other than the Instagram post, what might catch your attention was one of his responses to a comment from a fan. The fan wrote in his comment, “Holy sh*t. Just realized I’m in that same place” In response to this, Buendia wrote back and said, “@mattogus being called an OG hurts a bit nowadays.” He mockingly hinted at the discomfort with being considered a seasoned bodybuilder.

Moving back to his post caption, he also expressed a mix of humor and genuine sentiment. Buendia went on to address the comments that were making him feel older than his years. He wrote, “If I get another ‘I been watching you since I was a kid’ message again I’m gonna lose it.”

A few days back, he shared a glimpse into his training session for this year’s Olympia contest.

Buendia lists his all-time favorite routine

In his Instagram post, Buendia talked about his favorite movements for strong shoulders, promising an amazing pump. He shared a workout routine including shoulder press, dumbbell lateral raise, cable rope front raise, reverse fly, front plate raise, and single arm lateral fly. For the shoulder press, he recommended two warm-up sets and three workout sets.

According to Buendia, the dumbbell lateral raise should be done in a triple drop set over three sets. He also focused on the front and back shoulder with a cable rope front raise and reverse fly. The front plate raise involved three sets, and the last move was a single-arm lateral fly paired with dumbbell shrugs.
