Louise does not let anything stop her from achieving her fitness goals. When she was asked by Cohorted Cult, how she keeps her motivation and manages to do all these exercises, she said, ?As an adaptive athlete, learning techniques and finding ways of adapting the lifts takes time but the feeling once you master the movement is incredible.?
Louise admitted, ?It took me 18 months to find what worked for me, I spent this time frustrated with a lot of movements, but this is the process I needed to go through.“
Hawkins emphasized the importance of adapting movements and maintaining an open-minded approach. David Schneider, despite being born with a debilitating disability, faces the challenges of limited mobility caused by Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). AMC is a condition characterized by the stiffening of multiple joints in the body, resulting in restricted or no movement. Individuals with this condition are unable to fully or partially extend or bend their limbs.
In a video, Schneider?s trainer hands him huge weights, and he lifts them with ease. He even completed five reps, and this makes him an inspiration for many people.
