Since childhood, she was an active kid and always embraced competitiveness. She was a part of the gymnastics and cheerleading teams, and due to the lack of sports centers, her aerobics teacher taught her to create her workout space.

Afterward, she focused solely on her studies, but her nurse and ex-trainer mom suggested gym workouts. At the age of 15, she began her gym workout sessions. With the guidance of other professional bodybuilders, she entered the competitive arena of bodybuilding in 2008, initially securing top-five placements. However, for some reason, she didn’t take part in any events for eight years and made a comeback in 2016. Shaw in the feast of her consecutive wins, in 2023 made a record by winning the Ms. Olympia for the fourth time. Nevertheless, the reigning champion receives warm wishes from the community for her fortieth birthday.
