Lee Priest is a golden name in the?bodybuilding industry and even at the age of 51, he is still thriving in the fitness world. He won the Mr Australia title at the young age of 19 and since then, Priest has been on a roll. But as age slowly catches up to all, even the iron-willed veterans of bodybuilding have to acknowledge that their prime of brutal weightlifting and shedding weight is behind them. The 6th place holder in Mr. Olympia understands this reality and embraces it like a pro.

In his new Instagram post, Priest decided to show how age and reality work and how even bodybuilders have to let go of their jacked physique.

Priest is not afraid to tell people how things work and how life progresses. He is honest and open about everything related to fitness and bodybuilding. Priest is so candid that he even admitted to using steroids and shared his off-season steroid cycles on social media.

The IFBB pro, who defeated Ronnie Coleman in 1997, shared his guilty pleasure on Instagram. He posted a photo with a friend where both the lads were holding delectable chocolate ice creams infused with nuts. His friend was also holding a bottle of a soft drink. Priest decided to eat all the forbidden foods for a bodybuilder, in one day and he loved it! He expressed his thoughts funnily and said, ?I go walking outside doing cardio but can?t lose weight hmmmm wonder why lol.?

The SCEDA Racing championship winner, and 2006 IFBB Grand Prix Australia has a sweet tooth. Apart from this, Lee is very candid about weight loss and how to maintain one?s physique. He has given ideas on how to lose stubborn fat where, according to him, dieting and good old-fashioned workouts are the only way. However, Priest also admitted that with older age, weightlifting needs to be cut down.

Priest explains the art of letting go

The iconic bodybuilder and race car driver?explained how exercise needs to alter with age. He said in a YouTube short video,??Now I have learned, you get to a point in life where you used to do is not what you can do now.?

Finally, Priest advised people to just maintain the muscles and not go overboard after their 20s. ?Just to maintain what I have now, you know six seven plates. You just got to let it go and just be happy with what you like,? he said.
