In one of the episodes of The Mike O’Hearn Show posted on the official YouTube page of Generation Iron Fitness and Bodybuilding, Frank Zane appeared as the guest and Mike O’Hearn seemed pretty much impressed with whatever he had to say regarding the sport. He even mentions pursuing bodybuilding intelligently.
To that, Frank Zane replies that he has been working out consistently for 60 years. He said, “From age 14 up to now.” He added, “My goals are different now. I just want to keep my circulation good and my joints healthy. Not training heavy not getting injured.” Mike O’Hearn goes about adding how despite not lifting too much weight, he’s still doing it and the most important part is that he’s doing it correctly.

Frank Zane once even revealed why it is very important to keep changing workouts as you grow. Certain workouts are feasible only till a particular age.
