In order to be successful in the realm of bodybuilding, one has to go through a great deal of hard work and consistency. More often than not, athletes choose to take the short way by using performance-enhancing drugs or steroids, which cause harm both to their mental and physical well-being. A somewhat similar case happened with the fitness icon Larry Wheels.

Larry Wheels had to be dragged to the emergency room for his treatment because of steroid abuse, which led to him falling prey to a life-threatening disease. The reason was unknown until the fitness coach came forward and shared where Wheels could have gone wrong and what happened to him.

Doucette says, “Larry Wheels is hospitalized with a life-threatening condition known as rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdo results from the muscle tissue leaking out into the bloodstream.”

Doucette further goes on to state that the bodybuilding beast has abused performance-enhancing drugs, also known as steroids, which have a relatively lasting effect on the kidneys. He adds, “So, Larry, being very muscular and having abused steroids, is far more likely to suffer from Rhabdo.”
