45-year-old?“professional rejuvenation athlete” Bryan Johnson is a multimillionaire who is pushing the boundaries of anti-aging. The former owner of BrainTree Payment Solutions LLC appeared on bodybuilding influencer Jesse James West’s YouTube channel. West has become massively popular within the bodybuilding and fitness communities through his collaboration and challenge videos. He even trained with and publicly called eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, his father.

Johnson invited the YouTuber with 2.73 million subscribers to his home, where Jesse James West spent a day living like a biohacker spending $2 million on anti-aging.?”For the next 24 hours I’m going to be trying his daily protocol. Let’s see if I survive,”?said the bodybuilding influencer at the beginning of the video. In the video, West ate and worked out like the 45-year-old and even took some of the tests Johnson takes.

What the bodybuilding influencer learned from the biohacker

At the beginning of the video, the 45 bio hacker revealed his training goals to Jesse James West. Johnson said everything in his daily protocol, including the workouts, is designed to slow aging. While his training is intense, the multimillionaire doesn’t train to become an athlete. However, during the workout session, Johnson kept up and beat the 23-year-old influencer in cardio.

The former software engineer had a carefully planned morning routine as the first thing on the agenda. In this routine, he started by consuming a shot of extra virgin olive oil and a drink that Johnson cautioned might cause stomach discomfort. After that, Johnson hooked up the bodybuilder to a heart rate variability therapy. To conclude the routine, the 45-year-old placed a red light hair therapy cap on West’s head. However, John did not insist on the YouTuber taking the 60 pills he typically has for breakfast every day.

Johnson’s Unique Training Approach, Diet, and Wellness Protocols

Instead of strength training, Johnson trains to improve longevity, mobility, and cardiac health. The 45-year-old’s diet is also unlike a standard diet. In the video, Bryan Johnson showed two meals, and the first one was simply vegetables with olive oil. However, Johnson’s favorite meal was the second one, called the nutty pudding.?“Macadamia nuts, walnuts, flaxseed, berries, pomegranate seeds, and then you put a little pea protein in and some chocolate,”?said Johnson.

The final protocols of the man who underwent the world’s first multi-generational blood plasma exchange included a plethora of medical tests. These tests included red light therapy, face age calculation, speed of aging calculation, and others. Johnson told Jesse James West that red light therapy promotes recovery and nitric oxide production. West then got an analysis of his face, an ECG to check his heart health, and finally went to get his abs stimulated through a high-frequency electromagnetic stimulation.
