A bodybuilding expert recently talked about Nick Walker, who is not going to compete in Mr. Olympia this year, and also shared his views on his injury.

Nicholas Trigili on his Spotify “Bodybuilding and BS” podcast, talked about Nick Walker he said “Come out of this a Better guy a better bodybuilder with a different perspective on things learned a lot of Himself learned a lot about the people around him now. Maybe do care for him that maybe he thought did or did not care for him and your support system, you know, like who really gives a fu*k”

He also talked about something important when you’re older and have experienced difficulties. He said, “I think that is some super important stuff as you get older that you really resonate with and In the moment as a negative in the moments of negative. It su*ks.”

Nick Walker has been getting better and better at building his physique. He’s a bodybuilder, and he’s always paid attention to what the judges say about his performance. Over the years, he’s worked hard to turn his weaknesses into strengths. However, due to his injury, he will not be able to participate in Mr Olympia 2023.

Nick Walker’s injury a few days before Mr. Olympia

The Mutant injured his leg badly a few days before Mr. Olympia. Walker said he got hurt while training for the 59th Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his coach, Matt Jansen, tried to make some changes to still compete, but they decided to withdraw because Walker’s injury wasn’t getting better.

He talked about his injury on Instagram. Walker explains that he chose not to compete because he tore his hamstring during his training for the contest. He stated in the video, “It’s with a heavy heart I won’t be stepping stage this year due to unforeseen and unfortunate reasons that remind us we’re only human.” Walker not competing means there are now 17 bodybuilders in the lineup instead of 21.

Some others also withdrew from the competition. Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, who won the Mr. Olympia twice, decided not to participate. Iain Valliere, who retired from competitive bodybuilding earlier in 2023, also won’t be there. Brett Wilkin had to pull out because of digestive problems during his preparation.
