Now, another IFBB Pro bodybuilder is worried about how Sam Sulek’s popularity can affect young kids lifting weights at the gym. Marc Lobliner underscored how the 21-year-old bodybuilder’s gains can have an effect on young minds aspiring to build a physique like Sulek’s.

After shifting gears from a swimming career to bodybuilding, Sam Sulek rose to the heights of internet fame with 4.5 M followers on Instagram and 2.2 M subscribers on YouTube. And no, he is not a professional bodybuilder. However, his massively ripped physique at 21 intrigues young minds to hit the gym. But Marc Lobliner finds a major flaw in Sulek’s influence on kids lifting weights.

Sulek’s bodybuilding gains made gymgoers question his training methods with poor form. Also, unlike professional bodybuilders, Sulek’s diet rituals aren’t that strict. So, Lobliner alleges Sulek to be “obviously on copious amounts of drugs.” However, what makes him worry more is that the kids in his gym idolize Sulek.

So the fact that’s their idol and they’re all on those dr*gs,” the bodybuilding coach noted in his clip before adding, “The problem is people don’t think you can make gains without drugs.” Other elite bodybuilders have also raised concerns about Sam Sulek’s fitness rituals. 

The common verdict about the 21-year-old bodybuilder

Exercise Scientist Mike Israetel once commented on Sam Sulek’s poor form while doing an inclined bench press. While Luke Miller once demonstrated the right approach for hamstring curls, Sam Sulek’s go-to workout. Even Greg Doucette blamed Sulek for his diet rituals and said, “He’s dieting too hard, doing it all wrong.”

Ronnie Coleman, however, believes Sulek would be the next sensation on the Mr. Olympia stage if he trains heavily and focuses on his form a bit more. Despite the criticism online, Sulek continues to progress in his bodybuilding journey without losing self-confidence.

Sam Sulek was never vocal about his alleged ster**d usage. Lobliner’s fears are rational and young gym goers should educate themselves with the healthy means of building a ripped physique. So, adhere to Lobliner’s advice, “Parents, please discuss the downsides of ster*id abuse and kids, trust me, remain natural for as long as possible if not forever,” for a healthy and fit life.
