The 2024 Arnold Classic had a lot of unexpected twists. With Hadi Choopan defeating the defending champion and Wessely Vissers winning the classic physique title. Between all these events, two fellow Canadians met in the corner, inspiring many.

Kyle Landi, a young bodybuilder breaking the boundaries of Down syndrome and the first Canadian Down syndrome bodybuilder, met with the five-time classic physique Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead. As the two engaged in a conversation, CBum shared a tip with Landi for his fitness journey ahead.

Landi is taking it slow

In the video, one could see how the fellow Canadians were meeting after a long time and greeted each other warmly. CBum asked Landi about putting up weight and getting jacked up, to which Landi replied, “I am actually taking it slow.” The Olympia champion further reaffirmed Landi’s decision by sharing that the best way to achieve your goals is by taking it slow.

Posting the picture on his official Instagram, Landi wrote in the caption, “You’re inspire me to continue on my journey to become a bodybuilding champion just like you.” The young bodybuilder seems to take inspiration from the 5X Olympia champion and wants to be a champion like CBum in the future. 

Landi didn’t just stop at that. He further signaled at the fact that bodybuilding fans may get to watch him and CBum training together and penned,” One day, we are slamming the steel in your new gym.” If Landi’s wish comes true, this won’t be the first time he has rubbed shoulders with iconic bodybuilders at the gym. 

Landi continues to fulfill his dreams every day

Landi always had a dream of becoming a bodybuilder and always wanted to train with big names in the industry. He is on a successful journey as he got to train with King Ronnie Coleman in 2023. Just months after training with the King, Landi got an astonishing opportunity to train with the goat of the bodybuilding industry, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Landi posted an Instagram video of his training with the Terminator and wrote,“ I’ve been truly blessed to have been trained by some of the greatest athletes on the planet. Sincerest thanks to @schwarzenegger for spotting today @goldsgymvenice1.” Arnie also reshared Landi’s post, showcasing Landi’s dedication and commitment to sports.

Despite facing such challenges on his journey to become the finest, Landi serves as an inspiring figure for many. Big guns like Chris Bumstead, Ronnie Coleman, and Arnold Schwarzenegger have fulfilled Landi’s journey with their unwavering support by sharing their tips and training with him.
