The former Naval officer, who turned pro bodybuilder with his resilience and sheer dedication. Now he’s been preparing for Mr. Olympia 2023. He didn’t have an easy start in life, but he turned it around and became a champion in men’s physique. Recently won at the Legion sports fest, the strong contender in the division, Kyron Holden, recently, opens up about the hurdles he faced during his career.

Holden shared an interesting yet difficult incident about his life, which was hard for anybody to even talk about. The IFBB pro bodybuilder recently appeared in Lewis Flex’s podcast video, which was uploaded to his YouTube channel. They talked about various topics about Kyron’s remarkable journey.

Kyron Holden shared an extremely disturbing story of his life

The Men’s physique champion went through a lot in his life, from foster care to serving in the Navy, and finally transforming himself into a pro bodybuilder. He was active since childhood, during his 10th grade, he began his boxing practice, and he also used to do cardio exercises. After completing 12th grade, he joined the military and served in the Navy for 8 years. Later, he was transferred to Diego Garcia island. Where he first met his college and IFBB pro Marvin Moss.

Moss’s physique really inspired Holden, and he also began training to compete in bodybuilding. Eventually, in 2015, he competed in an event and won. Afterward, his life took an unfortunate turn of events. He got transferred again to San Diego. Where he got involved in some unfortunate events that changed his life completely.

He confessed in the video that he got drunk and involved with a girl and then the next day he received a call, “It’s like this is very obvious another person was there present like they know what was going on um I go into the command they let me know was going on it was like slow assault kind of like accusation that was put out there and I was like am I in the Twilight Zone right now.” This incident impacted on his life. Because he was in the military, and in the military, when someone is allegedly accused of something, they investigate. He explained the whole situation in the video.

Turning obstacles into opportunities

He further added after the military was done with the investigation, “eventually like she took it back….the incident and like although like nothing came of it like no charge of repressed, it was still something that was like on my name.” Eventually, he got out of the situation and started training for professional bodybuilding. He also expressed that after this incident, he isolated himself completely. Only focused on his training and the people who supported him during his hard time.
