Former Mr. California and bodybuilder Kali Muscle had a rough childhood. Kali got a scholarship to play football at Fresno State but unfortunately, he was caught up in bad company after his brother died in a gang-related shooting. He was arrested for robbery and sentenced to 11 years in prison. However, prison life made him passionate about?bodybuilding. Coming from a challenging childhood and then going to prison, Kali has had a tendency to deal with life in a rough way. He suffered a heart attack in 2021 due to synthetic steroid use and was rushed to the hospital. The incident nearly took his life away.

Kali Muscle recently appeared in an episode of?Escape Your Limits?and got candid about his use of steroids and bodybuilding which led to a life-threatening heart attack.

In the recent podcast video from Escape Fitness, Kali Muscle spoke about how he got to the point of no return. He talked about his childhood from where the damage had started and continued until his adult life. Muscle mentions in the video,??11 years in prison, Top Ramen four-five a day, I used to have f****** headaches all the time?I was eating…all this high cholesterol food.?

He admitted to eating junk food due to harsh prison conditions. He adds,??Then to top it all off, bodybuilding would ruin it, HGH and IGF and insulin and insulin that?s clogging everything up??This led to a near-death experience in 2021, and he further said in the video,??so I didn?t really stop up until the heart attack?.

Even doctors told him for years about his spiked blood pressure levels. But Kali did not bother until things got serious, though he regrets the decisions he took at that time.

The bodybuilder regrets his past choices

Muscle was candid about using steroids and admitted his mistakes in the podcast. He also posted a video straight from the hospital on 7th Nov 2022. In the video, he says,??And you know God is using me as an example???He regretted his past choices and explained the importance of being healthy. At the end of the video, he thanked everyone and said:?? Some people don?t get a second chance.?
