The 21-year-old fitness icon said, “How often do you need a rest week? How often are you taking significant periods off of the gym? He further added to his statement,

“Consistency, is the number one factor. Let’s say you do lift maybe twice a week and you get the craziest workout ever. then you don’t go in the rest of your days, man. I guess Mike Mentzer might think that’s a good idea. One workout and then four days of rest I’m not so convinced”, he emphasized that being consistence is the key to success. He exemplifies this by saying, you did rigorous training and lifted heavy weights twice a week. And, if you skip the gym for the next 3-4 days, it might not be good for your progress. According to him, it’s essential to take breaks, but days off from the gym will affect your growth. His clearly not persuaded by the techniques of the late bodybuilder.
