Bodybuilding icon Joey Swoll recently received a message from one of his followers, who was worried about her 13-year-old daughter. According to the follower, her child had learning disabilities, and since her best friend had to move someplace else, the child has been struggling at school.
The child has been subject to bullying regarding her weight, which prompted the mother to request Swoll to share his words of wisdom with her since she has been crying daily, feeling unable to fit in. Well, Joey Swoll did indeed take the task seriously and came to her rescue. Joey Swoll went the extra mile and consoled her. Joey Swoll recorded a video for the 13-year-old girl. He began by complimenting her name, Payton, and then shared how he had always wanted to have a daughter and wanted to name her Payton.

He then said, “Anyways, I heard you’re having a tough time at school because of some bullies. Uncle Joey does not like bullies.” He further went on to tell Payton that she was a beautiful young woman and that she must not pay attention to anything that the bullies tell her. “Hurt people, hurt people,” Swoll stated, explaining that bullies are people who are themselves hurting and that the hate she was receiving had nothing to do with her.
However, that does not in any way justify their actions. Giving her a sense of strength, he said, “Remember I always have your back, your mom has your back, and good people will always have your back.” Joey Swoll was himself bullied at school. Having the first-hand experience of how it feels to be picked at, here’s what he advised her.

Joey Swoll gives Payton the strength to be positive
Swoll ended his video by advising Payton to keep her head up and keep loving despite all the hatred, and most importantly, keep kindness in her heart. He even mockingly threatened the bullies by telling her that if they continued messing with her, he might as well make a trip to the north to put them in their places. Taking to the fact that her mother put in the effort to tell him about all this, looking out for her, he even told her, “Have an amazing week. You have an incredible mother. Much love.”
